Hello, my name is BMW E3 2500, born on December 30, 1974, at the BMW dealership Siekmann. My story is almost like a fairy tale – I was registered on December 30, 1974, to meet the dealership’s annual sales targets.
Then, fate took a positive turn…
In the first half of 1975, Wilhelm, a 38-year-old man who had owned several cars, came into my life. It wasn’t planned, but after an accident with his Ford Taunus, we met – and from that moment on, we were inseparable.

For Wilhelm, I was more than just a car. He loved me from the start, cherishing and taking care of me like a treasure. For nearly 50 years, I stood by his side, only leaving the warmth of his garage for special drives. Always well-heated and well-ventilated, I spent all those years in the best company.

Wilhelm gave me all the care I deserved. Countless inspections, every little maintenance job – I was always in the best hands. More than 20 BMW stamps adorn my service booklet, proving how much attention he gave me. No experiments, no risky adventures, just love and care – Wilhelm never let me down.

Yes, I’ve aged, but you wouldn’t know it. My paint still shines, and rust has never had a chance. Only once, my left fender was replaced – a small blemish long forgotten – but it didn’t diminish my beauty. My interior? So well-kept that you might think I’m much younger… Of course, there are a few traces of time, a little patina that tells my story – but that’s what makes me authentic.
Maybe it’s because I’ve averaged less than 4,000 km per year, though luckily, I’ve never been de-registered and have been regularly driven to avoid any damage from sitting idle.

I’d love to share more about myself. Not only am I a feast for the eyes, but I’m also an experience on the road. Beneath my hood beats a powerful heart – the BMW six-cylinder engine that was installed back then is still in top form. It provides incredible torque, making me feel sporty and spirited with every press of the accelerator. I’m not just a classic; I drive like one: dynamic, powerful, and with an elegance that is hard to find elsewhere.

All my functions work flawlessly. My brakes, shock absorbers, and other wear parts have always been serviced, so you can rely on me. Even my tires, although from 2018, still have plenty of tread and offer great grip.
My most recent BMW invoice is from 2023, and there are additional receipts and records. Even the factory-installed Bavaria radio still works perfectly, something I’m very proud of.

When you take me in, you’ll own a piece of history: with my comprehensive records, original BMW service booklet, original owner’s manual, my tool kit, and much more. What I’m most proud of, however, is my absolute originality. No one has ever tampered with me or altered my essence. I’m just as I was when I first saw the light of day – and I’m ready to give you the same driving experience that delighted Wilhelm 50 years ago.

Now, here I stand, with a heart full of memories of my Wilhelm, who is now 87 years old. Of course, it’s with great sadness that he’s letting me go – but also with the hope that I’ll meet a new owner soon. Maybe it’s you who will continue my journey, giving me the love I deserve. I can’t wait to roll back onto the road, feel the wind, and share new adventures with you.
