The Classic Fish is exactly what it is: a design study, a show car, a one-off.
It was designed in 2007 by Gert Pollmann as a fully drivable prototype to showcase various ideas from renowned suppliers. At the same time, it demonstrated how the combination of two-dimensional and three-dimensional surfaces can create an extraordinary body shape.

 

Although the design deliberately echoes legendary racing cars of the 1950s and 1960s, the Classic Fish was never intended as a production or road vehicle, but explicitly as a show car.

Gert Pollmann is a well-established figure in the international automotive industry:
He has worked and designed for renowned manufacturers such as Borbet, various international car brands, and leading suppliers in the automotive sector. Later, he founded his own design studio and has since been regarded as a well-known and sought-after figure in the automotive world.

 

The development and manufacturing costs of the Classic Fish exceeded €200,000. The vehicle was used at trade fairs, events, and exhibitions to present products and design concepts – and it remains fully drivable to this day.
